WHAT IS THE PATIENTS FIRST COALITION?

Britain is facing unprecedented healthcare challenges, and the health community is coming together to tackle them.

Britain is facing unprecedented healthcare challenges - and organisations need to show they are playing their part in tackling waiting lists and getting patients the care they need. In the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, NHS waiting lists are at a record level, with over seven million people currently waiting for specialist clinical care or surgery.

The Patients First Coalition - chaired by former Minister for Public Health Rt Hon Anne Milton - showcases the role organisations are playing to get patients the care they need, when they need it.

From increasing capacity, to new technologies - healthcare organisations are coming together as part of a wider health community to support better healthcare for patients across the UK.

The Patients First Coalition is an opportunity to demonstrate to the wider public how you are playing your part in supporting people to get the care they need. The campaign will generate innovative solutions to tackle waiting lists, and share best practice across the sector.
